"Right Past Me" by Maddy and Nancy

from the album Roughly Produced Masterpieces

Maddy and Nancy: lyrics, vocals, arrangement, and production
Chris Parks: guitars
John LaSala: mixing and post-production

“This was really something fun to do. We just chose the title "Right Past Me" based on the three-letter theme of Roughly Produced Masterpieces, and wrote a song around it. We wanted there to be a slight twist on the concept of love lost and how sometimes a break-up doesn't mean the end of feelings.” —Maddy and Nancy

We would like to thank our mom, the Chrises, their families, and all our friends and family that continue to support us from around the world. Thanks to Chris for adding a bit of Bebop.

Have a listen: Listen

Leave him behind.
Never look back.
Just look ahead.
Stay on track.
No back and forth.
No wrong or right.
Try to stay strong.
Stay out of sight—out of mind.

Then you walked right past me,
And you saw right through me,
And you know I still care
That the feelings are there.
Was it hesitation?
Did you see frustration?
And you know I still care
That the feelings are there

Hold it inside.
Don't let him know.
You turned away,
Tried to let go
Just draw a blank.
Try to forget.
He doesn't know
You have a regret.

Then you walked right past me,
And you saw right through me,
And you know I still care
That the feelings are there.
Was it hesitation?
Did you see frustration?
And you know I still care
That the feelings are there.
